Scope and Contents

The collection consists of a "Friendship and Memories of School Days," scrapbook and album and includes cards, correspondence, clippings, notes, pressed flowers and music programs. Katherine Johnson attended Hardin College in Mexico, Missouri, and the scrapbook deals primarily with her senior year of 1927 although there are a few items from other years. She was a pianist and a member of the Kappa Delta Phi Sorority. The loose items were placed in individual folders.
