Biographical / Historical

Clifton "Clif' Overcash, an executive for Leonard's Department Stores, served as Fort Worth city councilman from 1973 to 1975 and as Mayor from 1975 to 1977. As Mayor, he fought for single-member districts, promoted Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, and encouraged the removal of tolls on Interstate 30.
