Scope and Contents The collection consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings and printed matter pertaining to Alexander Hogg, who served as superintendent of Fort Worth Public Schools between 1883 and 1905. Hogg was a nationally known educator. He also was editor of the Texas & Pacific Quarterly, a literary magazine published by the T & P Railroad and author of several books, including "The Railroad in Education". The papers were donated in 1951 by his daughter Mary Lulie Hogg.
